Well I have neglected this blog for over two months. I have so much to tell. Christmas is my favorite time of the year as was my Dad's also, when he was living. I tend to follow in my Dads footsteps making this my favorite time of the year.
We have so much to be thankful for.
We have a God who loves us so much, and a wonderful Country that we live in. Bob and I have five wonderful children and 4 wonderful in-laws, even the families themselves that our two daughter - in- laws came from and our two son in laws came from are truly a blessing to us and to know that there children, were raised to love there heavenly father and show this in there daily walk with Christ. I am so thankful for our family.
As you all know, my grandson, Brian has histiocytosis a form of cancer in the Leukemia family. As I pray for Brian each and every day, i ask God to give him strength and heal his body, with each hill he has to climb, I ask God to bring him through it and especially be with his parents who also need strength and encouragement in their activity of taking care of Brian and meeting all his needs. He has an older brother and sister and a younger sister, I pray that God would reveal to them the importance of being loving and obedient to their parents as they meet the needs of their precious brother Brian.
Each week seems to be another hurdle that our daughter and her husband have to overcome for Brian, but today God was once again gracious in allowing Brian to do so very good on his Infusion. PTL for answered prayers and care for Brian during this time. During this time of this season, may be be thankful in all things and remember those in need. Again thanks for all the prayers that have been offered up for Brian, please continue to uphold him in prayer.God bless you all.
I have a wonderful husband, five children and nine grandchildren. I am so blessed!

This past Saturday, October 2nd, we drove over to Pensacola to see our Daughter and our grandson Brian. We had an enjoyable time and enjoyed each and every minute that we spent with the family. I was a bearer of many gifts from their Church Family here in Panama City and one of the gifts was an homemade monkey from the Frosts, the monkey had a red heart on it, and Brian has named it Boots, which is a good name for a monkey, he toted it around the whole time we were there.
After finishing some odd jobs that Big Daddy had to do, we gave out all the gifts and of course I spoiled my daughter as well. We took them to lunch at-- of course ,Chick Fil a (Brians favorite place beside Pizza.) Brian and Olivia rode with Bob and I and upon returning home to their house, Big Daddy and I told Brian how much we are praying for him, his reply to us, I know Gramma I have a lot of people praying for me and I know you and Big Daddy will too. How precious those words came across, and so sincere. I will always remember those words and I do indeed pray for Brian each and everyday, sometimes, I just am thinking about him and whisper a prayer on his behalf.
Pray each and everyday for this family, but especially on Wednesday when they try to meet with the new doctor and get established with him, pray for an easy transition. The doctor Brian used last time, is moving to Texas in about 3 months,
we are praying that they will be easily switched over to the new doctor without any hassle. Thanks so much for all your prayers for my daughter and Brian and the rest of the family. Pray for strength and wisdom that they might meet the needs of Brian and the other three siblings. Proclaiming outright my God is an awesome God. PTL

brian
Friday was a most difficult day not for Brian but for my daughter Carrie. They had a new port place in Brians chest for chemo once again. As always the appointed time for the port placement did not go off on schedule, as per hospital protocol, they were late and the pressure of waiting and waiting and waiting more, finally got to them, the sedative began to wear off and Brian once again realized I am still not done, and am still waiting. This stress is really taking a toll on my daughter I am asking prayer for her, for her strength and everything that she will have to endure for the next 1 - 2 years with chemo for her son. As you go to Brian's blog that she has set up for Brian you will see that he not a happy person. My pray for Brian is that God will really comfort him and help him through the Chemo and that he will not suffer to severe of reactions from the Chemo. Thanking you in advance for the prayers and encouragement offered up on Brian's behalf.
God bless you all.
God bless you all.

Our Precious Brian
Well one year again today our Brian was receiving his first Chemo Treatment. And today we received the news that he will be doing more Chemo, more intense and for a longer time. We do not understand, but know that God is in control, and he will give us strength and encouragement where we need it. He will supply people to come before us, whenever we need them. Altho is is very hard to accept the fact that Brian after getting a clean bill of health in July is now back to square 1 with Chemo. Please once again pray for not only Brian but also for his parents that they may also feel the encouragement and the strength that is sent to our Lord and Father on their behalf. As one of the grandparents for Brian my heart breaks, but if I could i would take this pain from him, I would in a moments notice! But i know that his needs will be met and that God will truly bless him. We covenant all your prayers once again and for always for the precious Brian that he is. Thanks so much and May God bless you each and everyone.

Well today is September 20th and it is my Mother's 90th Birthday, we began our celebration on September 19th with a party at her home, which is located close to me. She had a wonderful time, all my children and there spouses and their children were their with the exception of my youngest son and his wife, he is an Air Force Pilot and it is quite difficult for him to get away from the Base, but he was there in Spirit and Grandma knew that. My Oldest son and his wife, and 4 kids and My oldest daughter and her husband and 4 kids, from Pcola, my middle daughter and youngest daughter with her husband were all there and Grandma had the time of her life. She sat and watched and smiled as each and every great grand child had the time of their life running and playing in Granny's house. She still talks of the events of yesterday's party. Tonight, we took her to Po Folks for a dinner out, She once again was thrilled with all the attention she was getting they even came out and sang Happy Birthday to my Mom. We pray that my mom has a wonderful year ahead and the Lord willing again on the year of 2011 and the 20th of September we will again celebrate another year of her precious life.
To change gears to a higher prayer request, I again bring my grandson Brian back to you for prayer, he has surfaced some issues with his skin, and we are not sure what it is or if it is the surfacing of the Histocytosis again, please be in pray for Brian that all his tests will come back normal and that it is not the disease again. God will continue to protect him and keep him safe, pray for healing in his body. God is so good and will continue to bless Brian and also pray for his mom and dad and what needs they need to meet for him. Pray also for continued strength to be found in the Lord and may they feel that strength around about them. Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers.

A Great Day
Today is August 1st, it is very hot here, and above all today is Parents Day, so Happy Parents Day to all the parents out there.
This day has brought forth many new beginnings for our Family, our youngest son and his wife, have just moved back to Columbus, Ms. where he will begin his new job as a T-6 Pilot instructor to the new airman, who wish to learn how to fly planes, they have a good trainer because my son loves it and the love he has for it, he shares with others and gives the desires of his heart to the new pilots who wish to make it the desires of their hearts. I get really nervous when James flies, but God has blessed him with the gift of flying, and who am I to stand in the way of the desires of ones hearts.
Our oldest daughter son, Brian received a good check up and the report of his bone survey came back with flying colors, God has truly heard our prayers and answered them. We are so blessed to have a Savior who listens and who hears all our desires of our hearts and answers them.
I have eight grandchildren who are beautiful in the eyes of God and their grandparents. If you go my daughters blog you see me and my husband and the eight grandchildren, ranging from age 8 to 5 weeks old. They are all good and wonderful parents who are bringing them up in the love and admonition of their Savior. Bob and I are so blessed.
Jonathan my oldest stays on the go, with his job, he is working very hard and deligently for his Congressman, he also has his sister and mother involved in leg work also. We need to bring our country back to its knees. Our country is indeed in need of a lot of prayer.
Well the life of this household though it be empty of my children, still goes on and we seen to stay very busy with the just two of us. Altho when the grandchildren come there is once again life in the Hayes household. We had all eight grandchildren together last Sunday and it was truly a blessing and beautiful sound coming from the dining room to hear all the cousins talking and giggling while they ate. (not much eating going on, just a lot of giggling and talking)
That truly was a beautiful sound.
Well that just about wounds it up for this time. Will get back later and update some more. Take care.

Well today is unique day in the Hayes Family, Matt and Jess celebrate their First Anniversary together as man and wife, boy this time last year, we all were in quite a tizzy, hair to be done, pictures to be made. and all the aspects of getting ready for a wedding that you have planned all you life. They are away for the weekend and will return on Sunday afternoon and then leave out on Friday for a Carribean Cruise with several of their friends. I know that will be great trip do not forgot Mom and bring back a gift from the cruise, like a new purse. LOL
We have a new three week old new grandson, Noah Spence Hayes, his big sister Natalie and Claire and his big Brother Joseph all welcome him into their family. He is so precious.
My daughter Carrie, with her little Brian will go to the Doctor this week for a Check up on how the illness is doing in his little body. Please pray that Brian gets a good report and that he will be through with all the drugs and can begin to live a good life, God has truly blessed our family for all the prays that have been offered up for Brian. He has a good struggle with these things that have been thrown to him over the past few months, and the strength that my daughter has can only have come from the Father. He renews His strength in her each and every day. My thoughts and prays go out to you and I hope you all will continue to pray from my Brian. God is so good.
My youngest son and his wife, are getting ready to move back to Mississippi, while these past four months he has been in training for teaching new airman how to fly the T-6, he and his wife will be in this capacity for the next 3 years. Texas is so far away and getting back to Mississippi they seem so much closer. PTL, although they came to Texas with only a few things, but just as all temperary locations you leave with more than you came with, they will be needing a U=haul to come back LOL thanks to Antique shopping while in Texas.
My middle daughter has moved to great place and is alot closer to her Brother and Sister in law and those precious nieces and nephews she loves besides the ones in Pcola also, these are just around the corner and the others altho she goes all the time are just 2 hours away. The move has been great and the area she now lives in is quite friendly and cozy. The water is not to far away and the area is beautiful. She got a new bike and rides everywhere with her niece and nephew, they love having Aunt Dabney close.
My oldest son, continues in his public limelight, he continues to be busy as a bee and hardly ever slows down, except when he is asleep. His wife is very understanding and continues to balance all the house and life of raising four kids, of which the newest is 3 weeks old today.
Well that about brings the Hayes Clan upto date will write more later and at later date. May you all have a wonderful day.
