Well, PTL for little Brian not suffering any ill effects from Chemo, so far. He is tired, but that is one effect that comes with Chemo. Gramma Hayes hit pay dirt this Saturday while garaging saling with her buddy, we went to this one sale, and low and behold, I hit it good, got 8 DVD of Thomas the Train for Brian and 7 books, wanted one other thing, but missed out on it. LOL. Was really excited about that one sale.

Please continue to pray for Brian and his family, his mom and all his siblings they all have a touch of a cold, but the doctor says as long as Brian does not run fever, it will pass, and things will get better. Hope he does get any more sick than he is now and we are all praying that he will continue to do well. It is only through the prayers of his people that Brian is doing so well. Praise be to God.

I am so happy that I have a Savior who listens to all my woes , I do not know what I would do without Him in each and every days endeavors. I continually lift all my children and there spouses up in prayer every morning and I pray for each of my grandchildren one by one, and God is so good, He has helped me to understand that their is strength in numbers and power in prayer and encouragement from fellow christians. PTL . Thank you all so much for praying for Brian, please continue to do so and for his parents as they meet his needs on a daily basis.

Brian

TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!!! Little Brian is home as of 4:45 tonight. Because of your prayers, Brian is doing very well, all the tests results show only the skin is involved with this disease. No bones, or any other parts of his body have been infected. PTL Thank you all for all who have been praying and please continue to pray while Brian, as he goes through Chemotherapy. He will received Chemo every Friday for six weeks, please pray that he remains free from any illness, and the side effects will be minimal -because any fever of 101 or better would put him back in the hospital. Pray for strenght for Brian and for his parents. Also pray for his 3 siblings. Again thanks so much for your prayers. Brian has been truly in Gods hands.

My precious Brian

This past week, my grandson, Brian who is 3 years old, has been diagnosed with Histiocytostis, a rare blood disorder that occurs in about 1 in 200,000 children. This involves an abnormal increase in the number of immune cells in the body called Histiocytes. It has been thought of as a cancer-like condition, but actually is an autoimmune phenomenon in which immune cells mistakenly attack the body rather than fight infections.

We appreciate your prayers at this time. He still has some more tests this week to conclude that this is truly what our Brian has. Be in prayer for the doctors and the wisdom to help diagnose what route they will take with Brian. Also pray for my daughter and her husband as they minister to their son, Brian needs.

In Christ love,
Betsy

Today is May 9,2009, my husband left for Uganda on Thursday morning, 5/7/2009 for a three week mission trip. I really miss him. It seems every time he goes on another trip, the lonliness gets more and more. i pray for his safety and a blessing of God to the people he ministers to there.

Attended a Hospitality Seminar today on Saturday,5/9 and it was really good and was led my one our young people who is now married and lives in Louisana with her husband. She was
an excellent speaker and left all us with many desires for changes in our lives.

We are all staying busy with our various life styles. Jess and Matt continue to get ready for their wedding and to begin their lives together. It is only 9 weeks away, that is hard to believe.
Got a call from my oldest daughter tonight and SHE bought a cat for her daughter,Ansley, could not believe the call. but oh well my daughter has a love for animals just as her mom does and her sisters.

We are so sad that our son and brother had lost the race for city commissioner, but on the other hand we are so proud of his hard work and the outcome of the election, he has made some dents in the county and the city, and next time if the Lord wills it and he runs again, this time the people will know the name Jonathan HE DID A GREAT JOB. He had a great support system.
But like him, we all learned many lessons and how to make things better in the future.

Well that is it about the update of our life here, hope all you Moms have a wonderful day tomorrow on May 11th and may God bless each and everyone of you.

Hayes Family Update 2009

Well a new year has begun and many changes have come into our family. In ringing in this new year, we have another wedding of our youngest daughter to the man of her dreams. She will be marrying on July 18th to Matt, (who we have already adopted as our son ) When our children were born to us, we prayed that when they began to search for a mate, that God would provide them with a good Christian mate and so far God has answered those prayers for us. We could have not chosen better mates for our children if we had gone to search for them ourselves.
We are so pleased to have such good Christian leadership in our children's lives.
Jessica twin brother, James married in June of 2008 after graduation from the Air Force Academy, he and his wife are living in Mississippi. He will begin the pilot program this month, which is a desire of his heart. Not quite sure of the type of plane yet, (of course Mom would rather have him stay on the ground, but God will take care of my son, in all his endeavors that undertakes.)

My oldest daughter and her husband moved from Daytona Beach to Pensacola which we are so glad that she is so close now. Our oldest son and his wife live in Panama City and he has begin to entertain with a new project in his life, he is beginning to like politics. (it is in the blood, he comes by it naturally).
Our middle daughter has achieved in getting her masters degree in counseling and psychology of which we are so proud of her, we will be attending her graduation in Orlando this month. Way to go DABNEY!!!

As for Bob and I, life goes on, in September of 2008, Bob stepped down from the pastorate and became the Assistant pastor of Missions for our Church, he is very happy and content. He has always had a love for Uganda and now these trips can become more frequent, which is his love. He is already planned a trip for this January 2009 with a great team accompanying him.

We have a new pet which we call Holly, we got her in December, so we named her Holly, she is a combination of a miniature dachshund and part something else which are not too sure as yet to how big she will get, but she is truly a sweet dog. We now are up to three dogs, of which two are not ours. Our daughters have the same love for the dogs as their mother does. If it was left up to us. we would probably a yard full. But Dad says that's enough.

Well this will bring you up to date for the Hayes Gang, May you all have wonderful New Year and an Healthy one.
